We use the data we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Behostelized platform and services. • Process your bookings and send confirmation details. • Send you service notifications, such as booking status updates and warden contact details. • Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support. • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents. • Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations in Pakistan. • Analyse aggregate usage trends to improve our product (never at an individual level in marketing).

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Behostelized uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

• Maintain your session and keep you logged in across visits. • Remember your preferences (city, filters, favourites) stored in localStorage. • Analyse traffic using privacy-respecting analytics tools.

You can control cookie behaviour through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain platform features such as saved searches and favourites.

We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform:

• **Cloudinary**, for secure image hosting and delivery of property photos. • **Email providers**, for transactional email delivery (booking confirmations, OTP codes). • **Analytics providers**, for aggregated, anonymised usage insights.

All third-party providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only process it for the purposes we specify. We do not share personal data with advertisers.

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services and meet our legal obligations. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Booking and financial records are retained for up to 5 years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements.

When you request account deletion, your personal data (profile photo, identity documents such as CNIC/passport, and face-recognition data used for check-in in the tenant app) is permanently removed, while financial records are retained in anonymised form for the period above.
